Description
OneTouch Ultra test strips are designed to be used with the OneTouch Ultra series of blood glucose meters (OneTouch Ultra and OneTouch UltraEasy) for quantitative measurement of glucose levels in whole blood. The test strip itself draws in the volume of blood required for analysis and shows whether it is sufficient to obtain an accurate result. The capillary test strip allows you to choose a puncture site. It will also be convenient for you to make an analysis of the shoulder / forearm or palm, which will allow you to protect your fingers from repetitive perforations. The One Touch test strip can be touched anywhere - all sensitive elements are protected. That allows you not to think about how to take a test strip. You can analyze without worrying that external factors (dirt, dust, water) will affect your test results.
Composition
Each square centimeter of the test strip contains reagents in approximately the following concentrations: glucose oxidase - 14 IU, peroxidase - 11 IU, 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone hydrochloride - 0.06 mg, 3-dimethylaminobenzoic acid - 0.12 mg.
Indications
Determination of glucose level in whole blood.
Precautionary measures
The bottle or cap contains a desiccant. Close the cap immediately after removing the test strip from the vial.
special instructions
Store the test strips only in the original case, do not transfer them to another case or container. After removing a single OneTouch Ultra from the case, close the lid immediately and tightly. Use the strip immediately after you take it out of the case. Once you have opened the package, mark the expiration date on the label. Six months after you opened the case, you should throw away unused test strips. Do not allow dirt or blood to enter the top white edge of the strip. Do not use strips after the expiration date indicated on the package. Do not bend, cut into pieces or perform any other manipulations with the OneTouch Ultra test strips.
