Chondroitin sodium sulfate, dimethyl sulfoxide (dimexide), lanolin, vaseline, purified water.

Pharmacological effect

High molecular weight mucopolysaccharide, which slows bone resorption and reduces calcium loss. It improves calcium and phosphorus metabolism in cartilage, accelerates its recovery processes, and slows down the processes of cartilage and connective tissue degeneration. Suppresses enzymes that cause damage to the cartilage tissue, stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, promotes the regeneration of the articular sac and the cartilage surfaces of the joints, increases the production of intraarticular fluid. In view of its structural proximity to heparin, it prevents the formation of fibrin clots in the synovial and subchondral microvasculature. It reduces pain and increases mobility of the affected joints. Slows the progression of osteoarthritis. Dimethyl sulfoxide, which is part of the ointment, has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and fibrinolytic effects, contributes to a better penetration of chondroitin sulfate through the cell membrane.

Indications

Degenarative-dystrophic diseases of the joints and spine - osteoarthritis with predominant damage to the large joints intervertebral osteochondrosis.

Contraindications
