Description

Capsules Equamer 5mg + 10mg + 20mg - a combined antihypertensive and lipid-lowering drug (blocker of "slow" calcium channels + angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor + HMG-Co-A reductase inhibitor). The composition of the drug Equamer includes three active ingredients - amlodipine, lisinopril and rosuvastatin. The mechanism of action of the drug Equamer is based on the pharmacological properties of active substances.

Indications

Equamer is indicated as replacement therapy in adult patients, whose condition is adequately controlled by the use of amlodipine, lisinopril and rosuvastatin in the same doses as in the preparation Equamer, in the treatment of arterial hypertension and concomitant dyslipidemia: - primary hypercholesterolemia (type IIa by Fredrickson classification, with the exception of familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia) or mixed hypercholesterolemia (type IIb according to Fredrickson's classification), when diet and other non-drug methods (for example, phe- exercise, weight loss) are not sufficient, - homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, when diet and other lipid-lowering therapy (eg, LDL apheresis) is not sufficiently effective, - hypertriglyceridemia (Fredrickson type IV according to the classification).

Precautionary measures

In elderly patients, the drug should be used with caution. In clinical studies, no data were obtained on the change in the efficacy or safety profile of amlodipine, lisinopril or rosuvastatin, depending on age.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage and administration

The drug is taken orally, regardless of the time of meals. The recommended dose of the drug is 1 caps / day. The maximum daily dose is 1 caps. If a dose adjustment is necessary, doses should be titrated using amlodipine, lisinopril and rosuvastatin separately.
