Pharmacological effect
Hawthorn fruits - a cardiotonic remedy of plant origin. Infusion of hawthorn fruit has a cardiotonic, antispasmodic, moderate sedative effect, exhibits hypotensive properties, normalizes blood clotting rates.
Indications
In the complex therapy of functional disorders of cardiovascular activity (neurocirculatory dystonia, cardialgia).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy (I term), children under 12 years of age.
Dosage and administration
About 15 g of hawthorn fruit is placed in an enamel bowl, 200 ml of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Accept inside on 1 / 2–1 / 3 glasses 2–3 times a day in 30 minutes prior to food. The course of treatment is 20-30 days. Before use, the infusion is recommended to shake.
