Composition
Active ingredient: papain (proteases of papaya fruits) 350 PE. Concentration of active ingredient: papain (proteases of papaya fruits) 350 PE.
Pharmacological effect
Proteolytic agent for external use. Cleaves necrotic tissue, dilutes viscous secretions, exudate. Close in action to trypsin and chymotrypsin.
Indications
Correction of weakened immunity; treatment of pathological conditions (warts, warts, dysplasia, etc.) caused by human papillomavirus; treatment of infections caused by herpes simplex virus, chlamydia, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, other bacteria and viruses.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, lactation; increased individual sensitivity to the drug.

Dosage and administration
Caripazim is applied topically in the form of 0.5%, 1% or 2% solution, depending on the scab thickness. Solutions are prepared ex tempore 0.5% solution of novocaine or isotonic sodium chloride solution. The napkin moistened with the preparation is placed on the burned surface, covered with a moisture-proof bandage. At the same time process no more than 30% of the total surface of the body. The dressing is changed 1 time per day or 1 time in 2 days, while removing the detached necrotic tissue. The course of treatment is from 4 to 12 days.
