Composition
Belladonna tincture, valerian rhizomes tincture, lily of the valley tincture, menthol 25 ml
Pharmacological effect
Belladonna leaf has m-anticholinergic and antispasmodic effects. Interferes with the stimulatory effect of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces the tone of the digestive tract muscles, bile ducts and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV conductivity. It dilates pupils, impedes the outflow of intraocular fluid, increases intraocular pressure, causes accommodation paralysis. Lily of the valley tincture has a cardiotonic effect. Valerian rhizome with roots has a sedative and spasmolytic effect. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. Sedation is slow, but stable enough. Menthol is a local irritant, has venotonic, analgesic, reflex coronary dilating and antianginal effects.
Indications
Vegetovascular dystonia; spasm of the digestive tract organs; renal and hepatic colic; hyperacid gastritis; chronic cholecystitis; biliary dyskinesia; increased excitability.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; angle-closure glaucoma; prostatic hypertrophy with impaired outflow of urine.
Precautionary measures
During the period of treatment, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration, psychomotor speed and good vision.
Dosage and administration
Zelenina drops are taken orally, 20-30 drops 3-4 times a day.
Side effects
Allergic reactions; heartburn, gastralgia, drowsiness, accommodation paresis, mydriasis; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, arrhythmia, myasthenia, headache.
Interaction with other drugs
Enhances the effect of hypnotic drugs and drugs that depress the central nervous system.
