Description
Test strips are designed for a glucometer Kontur TS (Bayer Contour TS). A drop of blood is only 0.6 mcl. They do not require coding, they are ideal for an elderly person.
Composition
100 g of cream contain: active substances: isoconazole nitrate 1 g, diflucortolone valerate 100 mg, excipients: polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, white petrolatum, disodium edetate, purified water.
Pharmacological effect
In the Contour TS system, the glucose level is determined based on the measurement of the electrical current caused by the reaction of glucose with reagents on the strip electrode. The blood is absorbed into the intake tip of the test strip due to the capillary effect. The glucose contained in the sample reacts with FAD-glucose dehydrogenase (FAD-GDH) and potassium ferricyanide. When electrons are separated, a current arises that is proportional to the level of glucose in the blood. The concentration of glucose in the sample used is displayed after completion of the reaction. No calculations required. Testing provides a quantitative measurement of the level of glucose in the blood in the range from 0.6 to 33.3 mmol / l.
Indications

Contraindications
Weakened peripheral circulation.
Precautionary measures
When moving the meter and test strips to a warmer or cooler place, wait 20 minutes and then measure the glucose level. The Contour TS system provides accurate results at temperatures ranging from 5 ° C to 45 ° C.
Dosage and administration
The Contour TS test strips are designed for use with the Contour TS blood glucose meter. Before taking the strip, wash, rinse, and dry your hands thoroughly. Test strips are for single use only. Do not reuse them. Clinical factors such as state of shock, severe hypotension, hyperosmolar hyperglycemia, and severe dehydration can cause incorrect results when measuring glucose in peripheral blood. Initially, the results in the measuring device are displayed in mmol / l. Values in mmol / always have a decimal point (for example, 5.3 mmol / L), values in mg / dL do not have a decimal point (for example, 96 mg / dL).A glucose level below 2.8 mmol / l or above 13.9 mmol / l may indicate a deterioration in the patient’s health. Interaction with other drugs
Lipemic medication: indications may be overestimated at cholesterol concentrations> 13.0 mmol / l or triglycerides> 33.9 mmol / l. Solutions for peritoneal dialysis: there is no interference between the Contour TS test strips and icodextrin. Xylose: do not measure during the xylose absorption test or immediately after it. The presence of xylose in the blood leads to interference. Preservatives: Medical professionals are advised to collect blood samples in heparin tubes. The use of other anticoagulants or preservatives is unacceptable. Before choosing a drug or its dosage based on measuring blood glucose using the Contour TS system, always consult with a medical specialist.

Altitude within 3048 m does not have a significant effect on the results. Reducing the concentration of substances that appear naturally in the blood (uric acid, bilirubin) or accumulated during treatment (ascorbic acid, acetaminophen) do not have a significant effect on the results.
