Description
Granules for the preparation of suspensions Ospamox - an antibiotic of the penicillin group, aminopenicillin, is destroyed by penicillinase. It has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action.

Pharmacological effect
Antibacterial broad spectrum. It blocks the synthesis of peptidoglycan shell sensitive microorganisms and causes their death.
Pharmacokinetics
It is almost completely absorbed in the small intestine (food intake does not affect absorption), Cmax is achieved in 1–2 hours. It is distributed in tissues and body fluids, including sputum and purulent bronchial secretions, penetrates into breast milk. With normal liver function, there is a high concentration in the bile. T1 / 2 - 1-2 h, mainly excreted by the kidneys (50% in the active form).
Indications
Lower infections (acute, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, whooping cough) and upper respiratory tract, upper respiratory tract, urinary organs (acute, chronic pyelonephritis, pyelitis, prostatitis, epididymitis, cystitis, urethritis, asymptomatic bacteriuria during pregnancy, gonorrhea) GIT (typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, cholangitis, cholecystitis, shigellosis), skin and soft tissues, gynecological (endometritis, etc.), leptospirosis, listeriosis, infective endocarditis, meningitis, septicemia, prevention of surgical infection.
Dosage and administration
The dose depends on the sensitivity of the pathogen and the localization of the infectious process. The daily dose should be divided into 2 (up to 3-4) dose. Doses for children calculated per kg of body weight should not exceed the maximum doses for adults. Average doses for adults and adolescents - 1.5-2 g / day, for children - 30-60 mg / kg / day. Treatment should be continued for 2-5 days after the symptoms disappear. To prevent complications of streptococcal infections, the duration of treatment should be at least 10 days (WHO recommendations). When preparing a suspension, fill the bottle with granules with drinking water, shake vigorously, and then pour water up to the ring mark. Before use, the vial of suspension should be well shaken.
