Pharmacological effect
Pharmacological action - antifungal. Violates the synthesis of ergosterol, which is part of the cell membrane of fungi, which causes a change in its structure and properties and leads to cell lysis.

Indications
Fungal infections of the skin, especially those accompanied by acute eczematous manifestations: inguinal athlete's disease, athlete's foot, smooth skin microsporia, candidiasis caused by Candida albicans.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Lupus. Post-vaccination skin reactions. Herpes simplex. Skin manifestations of syphilis. Actinomycosis, blastomycosis, sporotrichosis. Trophic ulcers on the background of chronic venous insufficiency. Skin tumors. Breastfeeding period.
Precautionary measures
The drug is intended for use only in dermatological practice. The use of the drug Candid B in the complex treatment of candidiasis in the anogenital area allows you to quickly achieve a significant improvement in the patient's condition. It should be borne in mind that when external use of glucocorticoids on large areas of the skin or with occlusive dressings, their systemic absorption is possible. With the use of occlusive dressings may develop rash, folliculitis, pyoderma.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
In clinical and experimental studies it has not been established that the use of Candida-B6 during pregnancy and during breastfeeding adversely affects the health of the woman or the fetus. However, the question of the appointment of the drug should be decided by the doctor individually. In this case, the use of the applicator is not recommended.
Dosage and administration
Outwardly, on previously washed and dried affected skin, gently rubbing, applied with a thin layer 2-3 times a day. When inguinal athlete’s disease, microsporia of smooth skin and candidiasis, the course of treatment is 2 weeks. with athlete's foot, 4 weeks. If necessary, long-term use should be applied less frequently, every other day. In the treatment of chronic diseases, treatment should continue for some time after the disappearance of all symptoms, in order to avoid recurrence of the disease.
Side effects
Side effects are usually mild. Possible local allergic reactions, redness of the skin, burning sensation and tingling at the site of application of the drug. Rarely, as with the use of other corticosteroids, acne-like changes, hypopigmentation, striae, skin atrophy, hypertrichosis, telangiectasia, and secondary skin infections may develop.
Overdose
When using Candida in higher dosages, there are no conditions or reactions that are life-threatening. In case of accidental ingestion of Candida, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, gastralgia, abnormal liver function may occur, in rare cases drowsiness, hallucinations, skin allergic reactions, pollakiuria appear. There is no specific antidote. Assign activated carbon, conduct symptomatic therapy.
Interaction with other drugs
When administered vaginally, it reduces the activity of amphotericin B and other polyene antibiotics. With simultaneous use with nystatin, Candida-B6 activity may decrease.
special instructions
To prevent urogenital reinfection, simultaneous treatment of both sexual partners is necessary. For trichomoniasis, for a more successful treatment, other drugs with a systemic effect, for example metronidazole, should be prescribed in conjunction with the Candide-B6 drug. Vaginal pills are not recommended during menstruation.
