Pharmacological effect
Antifungal local, antibacterial local.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied topically, the absorption of clotrimazole from the mucous membranes is negligible.
Indications
Prevention and treatment: pollinosis; allergic rhinitis (including seasonal and / or year-round).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to betamethasone or other components of the drug.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Acute overdose with topical application of the Candid solution is unlikely and does not lead to a life-threatening situation.
Dosage and administration
The required amount of cream is rubbed onto the previously washed and dry affected skin area 2-3 times a day. Treatment should be continued for 2-4 weeks after the disappearance of clinical symptoms in order to ensure mycological cure and prevent recurrence.
Side effects
When used simultaneously with amphotericin B, nystatin, the activity of clotrimazole may be reduced.
Overdose
Itching, burning and swelling of the vaginal mucosa, vaginal discharge, headache, gastralgia, frequent urination, intercurrent cystitis, burning sensation in the penis of a sexual partner, pain during intercourse
