Pharmacological effect
Adsorbent. It has a large surface activity and high sorption capacity. Reduces absorption from the gastrointestinal tract of toxic substances, salts of heavy metals, alkaloids and glycosides, medicinal substances, facilitating their removal from the body. It adsorbs gases on its surface.
Indications
Dyspepsia, intoxication with dysentery, salmonellosis, food toxicoinfection, flatulence, hypersecretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, allergic diseases, poisoning by chemical compounds, drugs (including alkaloids, salts of heavy metals), to reduce gas formation in preparation for x-ray and endoscopic research.
Contraindications
