Pharmacological effect
Histamine H1 receptor blocker with anticholinergic properties. Reduces or eliminates histamine-induced increase in the smooth muscle tone of the bronchi, intestines, uterus, increase in capillary permeability with the development of edema, hyperemia and itching. Dimenhydrinate has a pronounced sedative and antiemetic effect.
Indications
Arterial hypertension in patients for whom combination therapy is indicated.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, epilepsy, acute exudative and vesicular dermatosis, children under 3 years old, pregnancy, lactation period.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Dihydrogenate is used with caution in angle-closure glaucoma, urination disorders, benign prostatic hyperplasia, epilepsy, in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases. Dosage and administration
Inside, before meals: - sea and air sickness: children from 3 to 6 years old - 1/4 - 1/2 pills 2-3 times a day; children from 7 to 12 years old - 1/2 - 1 tablet 2-3 times a day; children over 12 years old and adults 1-2 pills 2-3 times a day; - prevention and treatment of symptoms of vestibular and labyrinth disorders (dizziness, nausea, vomiting), with the exception of symptoms caused by antitumor therapy: children from 3 to 6 years old - 1/4 - 1/2 pills 2-3 times a day; children from 7 to 12 years old - 1/2 - 1 tablet 2-3 times a day; children over 12 years old and adults 1-2 pills 2-3 times a day; - Meniere's disease: children under 12 years old - 1/2 - 1 tablet 2-3 times a day; children over 12 years old and adults 1-2 pills 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose for adults should not exceed 7 pills. For the prevention of kinetozov should take 1-2 pills 30 minutes before the trip. Side effects
With simultaneous use with sedatives, hypnotics, antidepressants, ethanol, the inhibitory effect on the CNS increases. With simultaneous use, dihydrogenate can mask the ototoxicity of streptomycin and, apparently, other aminoglycoside antibiotics.

On the part of the respiratory system: dryness of the mucous membrane of the nose and throat, thickening of bronchial secretions. Since the cardiovascular system and blood: lower blood pressure, tachycardia, hemolytic anemia. Allergic reactions: skin rash, angioedema, bronchospasm, rarely - medical dermatitis.
