Composition
1 sachet contains: Active substances: oval plantain seed shell (Plantago ovata Forssk.) - 3.53 g. Additional substances: sucrose - 0.527 g, sodium alginate - 0.276 g, sodium acetate - 0.247 g, maltodextrin - 0.193 g, citric acid monohydrate - 0.137 g, aspartame - 0.03 g, natural orange flavoring - 0.06 g.
Pharmacological effect
Hydrophilic fibers contained in the shell of the seeds of plantain oval, increase in volume due to the absorption of water and cause a reflex increase in motility, restoring the normal activity of the large intestine. The gel-forming fraction helps to soften the stool and acts as a “lubricant”, facilitating bowel emptying for constipation and painful bowel movement in patients with perianal lesions.
Indications

Contraindications

Dosage and administration
Inside. For 1 sachet 1-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after meals. Before use, pour the contents of 1 sachet with a glass of cold water, stir and drink immediately, then drink another glass of liquid. Interaction with other drugs
It should not be prescribed simultaneously with antidiarrheal drugs, as well as drugs that suppress intestinal motility. Fibralax can slow down the absorption of simultaneously used drugs. It is necessary to observe an interval of 30-60 minutes between taking Fnbralax and other drugs.
