Pharmacological effect
The combination of hesperidin + diosmin in Flebaven has venotonic and angionrotective properties. Reduces the elasticity of the veins and venous congestion, in microcirculation - reduces the permeability of capillaries and increases their resistance, improves venous hemodynamics. It affects the following venous plethysmographic parameters: venous capacity, venous distensibility, time of venous emptying. The optimal effect is achieved when taking 2 Flebaven pills. The combination of hesperidin + diosmin increases venous tone by reducing the time of venous emptying. In patients with signs of pronounced microcirculation, there is an increase in capillary resistance. Flebawen pills are effective in treating chronic diseases of the lower extremity veins, as well as in the treatment of hemorrhoids.
Pharmacokinetics
Metabolism The drug is subjected to active metabolism, as evidenced by the presence of phenolic acids in the urine. Excretion is eliminated from the body mainly with faeces. With urine, on average, about 14% of the accepted amount of the drug. T1 / 2 is 11 hours.
Indications

Contraindications

Dosage and administration
Inside. The recommended dose of Flebaven for venous lymphatic insufficiency is 2 pills per day: 1 tablet - in the middle of the day and 1 tablet - in the evening, during meals. The duration of the course of treatment can be several months (up to 12 months).In case of recurrence of symptoms, according to the doctor's recommendation, the treatment with Flebaven can be repeated. The recommended dose for acute hemorrhoids is 6 pills per day: 3 pills in the morning and 3 pills in the evening for 4 days, then 4 pills per day : Take 2 pills of Flebaven in the morning and 2 pills in the evening over the next 3 days.
Side effects
