Pharmacological effect
Combined preparation for topical use in dentistry with an antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. With topical application of choline, salicylate is rapidly absorbed by the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, providing a local anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect. Inhibits the activity of COX, the function of macrophages and neutrophils, the production of interleukin-1 and inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins. It also has an antimicrobial and antifungal effect in an acidic and alkaline environment. Cetalconium chloride is an antiseptic, acts on bacteria, fungi and viruses. An ethanol-based adhesive adhesive provides a rapid development of the effect and long-term retains active substances on the mucous membrane. Analgous effect occurs in 2-3 minutes while its duration is 2-8 hours

Indications

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salicylates and other components of the drug. The drug should be used with caution during pregnancy, during breastfeeding and in children under 1 year of age.

Dosage and administration
Cholisal is applied topically 2-3 times per day before meals (for the purpose of pain relief) or after meals and before bedtime.
