Pharmacological effect

Combined drug, the action of which is due to the properties of its constituent components. It has a fibrinolytic, anti-inflammatory (due to an extract of Seraye bulbs), an antithrombotic (due to heparin), and a keratolytic effect (due to allantoin). Stimulates cell regeneration without hyperplasia. Inhibits the proliferation of keloid fibroblasts.

Pharmacokinetics

The experiment showed that heparin penetrates the connective tissue of the dermis in a clinically sufficient amount over 4 hours. Deep penetration is provided by a combination of heparin with an extract of Cerae bulbs and allantoin (transepidermal heparinization). When using the drug Contractubex systemic absorption is not observed.

Dosage and administration

The consumption of the drug in one application on average 0.5 cm of gel per cicatricial surface of 20-25 cm2. Apply 2-3 times / day, easily rubbing into the scar tissue. The course of treatment for fresh scars averages 4 weeks. In case of long-standing dense scars, an occlusive bandage with a gel is applied at night. The course of treatment is on average 3-6 months.
