Composition
Nystatin 250 000 IU. Excipients: paraoxybenzoic acid propyl ester, food citric acid, vaseline oil, Witepsol H-15, Wiepsol W-35.
Pharmacological effect
Antifungal drug from the group of polyenes. Binding to the sterols in the cell membrane of fungi, violates its permeability, which leads to the release of the main components of the cell. It has a fungistatic effect. It is active against yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied topically, it is not absorbed into the systemic circulation. Does not accumulate. Excretion is excreted from the body with feces.
Indications
