Composition
100 g of aerosol contains: Active ingredient: dexpanthenol 4.63 g. Additional substances: cetostearyl alcohol emulsifying type A 1.85 g, liquid wax 2.78 g, liquid paraffin 1.39 g, water 81.83 g, peracetic acid 0.11 g, propellant (consists of a mixture of three gases: propane, isobutane, n-butane) 7.41 g.
Pharmacological effect
Belongs to vitamins of group B, is a derivative of pantothenic acid. It plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation, participates in carbohydrate and fat metabolism, in the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrins. It has a pronounced effect on the formation and function of epithelial tissue, has some anti-inflammatory activity.
Pharmacokinetics
Dexpanthenol is rapidly absorbed by the skin (quickly absorbed) and turns into pantothenic acid. It binds to plasma proteins (mainly albumin and β-globulin).
Indications
Solar and thermal burns, damage to the skin and mucous membranes. Bullous and blistering dermatitis, diaper rash, boils after opening and reorganization. Septic postoperative wounds, poorly engrafted skin grafts. prevention and treatment of diaper rash in infants, activation of the skin healing process for minor injuries, erythema from diapers

Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Precautionary measures
Avoid use on large skin surfaces during pregnancy.

May be used during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) according to indications.
Dosage and administration
The aerosol is applied externally 1 or several times a day by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm so that the entire damaged surface is covered with the preparation (foam). The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease.
Side effects
Allergic skin reactions are possible, with the appearance of which the drug should be discontinued.
Overdose
Dexpanthenol, even in high doses, is well tolerated and non-toxic.Cases of hypervitaminosis are unknown.
Interaction with other drugs
As a precaution regarding possible interactions (antagonism or inactivation) should not be used simultaneously with other antiseptics.
