Pharmacological effect
Sea water helps to maintain the normal physiological state of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, as well as the dilution of mucus and the normalization of its production by the mucous goblet cells. Trace elements that are part of sea water, have anti-inflammatory effect, stimulate reparative processes, improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, promotes its purification.
Indications
- adenoiditis - acute, allergic, vasomotor rhinitis - chronic diseases of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, paranasal sinuses, including accompanied by dryness of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity - prevention of infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period, with changing climatic conditions (rooms with air conditioning and / or central heating), the presence of polluted atmospheric air (smokers, drivers of vehicles, hot and dusty shops). - washing the wounds of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses before and after surgical interventions. - Hygienic procedures of the nasal cavity (including infants).
Contraindications

Dosage and administration
The drug is used intranasally. Aqua Maris In infants with a hygienic purpose, the drug is used with turunds moistened with the drug, 2 times / day or by instillation, 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times / day, for children aged 1 to 7 years - 1-2 injections into each nasal passage 1-3 times / day, children aged 7 to 16 years old - 2 injections 1-3 times / day, adults - 2-3 injections into each nasal passage 3-6 times per day For the purpose of treating diseases of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx, the drug is used: for children up to 1 year - 2 drops in each nasal passage, for children aged 1 to 7 years - 1-2 injections in each nasal passage 1- 3 times / day, children 7–16 years old — 2 injections into each nasal passage 4–6 times / day, adults –– 2–3 injections into each nasal passage 4–8 times / day.The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks, if necessary, repeat the treatment after 1 month. To soften and remove nasal secretions, the drug is injected or instilled multiple times (removing excess fluid using cotton wool or a handkerchief) into each nasal passage until complete softening and removal of secretions. Adults and children over 6 years old (spray nasal forte): for diseases of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx (including for acute respiratory viral infections) - 2-4 injections every day in each nasal passage; care for the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity after surgical interventions - 4-6 injections every day in each nasal passage.
