Indications
- to stimulate regenerative processes after injuries and diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system; - for resorption of pathological scars, adhesions after burns, injuries, during adhesions in the abdominal cavity; - in the complex therapy of patients with infectious diseases, especially when they are protracted, recurrent; - With some allergic diseases (bronchial asthma); - with psoriasis; - with chronic diffuse streptoderma; - with sclerotic processes in the bronchi; - with epididymitis and prostatitis; - with some resistant dermatoses (neurodermatitis, urticaria, etc.); - chronic inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs; - as an additional non-specific agent in the complex therapy of syphilis.
Contraindications
The drug should not be administered to patients with acute febrile illness and pregnant.
Dosage and administration
Enter intramuscularly 1 time per day. Injections produced every other day or at large intervals (2 - 3 days). Doses must be selected individually. The initial dose is 25 - 50 MPD. Set the dose, causing an increase in body temperature to 37.5 - 38 'C, and enter it until the temperature rise stops, after which the dose is gradually increased by 25 - 50 MPD. The maximum single dose for adults 1000 MTD. The course of treatment consists of 10 - 30 injections; if necessary, repeat it. The break between courses should be at least 2 - 3 months. In children, the dose is reduced in accordance with age; begin with the introduction of 5 - 15 MTD, gradually increasing the dose, if necessary, but not exceeding 250 - 500 MTD. Side effects
With an overdose of Pirogenal, individual patients may develop chills, fever, headache, vomiting, back pain. These reactions usually last 6 to 8 hours, after which the body temperature drops and the side effects disappear. In these cases, it is recommended to reduce the dose.
