Composition
Tablets 1 tab. grass powder thermopsis lanceolate 6.7 mg sodium bicarbonate 250 mg.
Pharmacological effect
Expectorant of plant origin. Thermopsis herb has an expectorant effect, having a moderate irritant effect on the receptors of the gastric mucosa, reflexively increases the secretion of bronchial glands. The alkaloids contained in a thermopsis (cytisine, methylcytizine, pahikarpin, anagirin, thermopsin and thermopsidin) have a stimulating effect on the respiratory and high-dose vomiting centers. Sodium bicarbonate stimulates the secretion of bronchial glands, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum.
Indications
- cough with sputum difficult to separate (bronchitis, tracheitis) - as part of complex therapy.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity - gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
Dosage and administration
Inside, 1 tab. 3 times / day for 3-5 days. Higher doses for adults inside (in terms of thermopsis): single - 0.1 g, daily - 0.3 g
Side effects
Nausea.
