Description
Venus pills in the film coating - venotonic and venoprotective drug. It has an angioprotective and venotonic effect. It reduces the elasticity of the veins, increases their tone and reduces venous stagnation, reduces permeability, capillary fragility and increases their resistance, improves microcirculation and lymph flow. With the systematic use reduces the severity of clinical manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities of organic and functional nature.

Composition
One tablet of the drug contains the active ingredients: diosmin - 0.45 g, hesperidin - 50 mg + excipients (gelatin, cellulose, talc, magnesium srearate, sodium starch glyconate, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol 6000, sodium lauryl sulfate, red titanium oxide, yellow iron oxide ).
Indications
Treatment of symptoms of venous lymphatic insufficiency: - pain, - cramps of the lower extremities, - feeling of heaviness and distention in the legs, - "fatigue" of the legs. Therapy for manifestations of venous lymphatic insufficiency: - edema of the lower extremities, - trophic changes of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, - venous ulcers. Symptomatic therapy of acute and chronic hemorrhoids.
Precautionary measures
With exacerbation of hemorrhoids, the prescription of this drug does not replace the specific treatment of other anal disorders. The duration of treatment should not exceed the time specified in the section "Dosage regimen". In the event that the symptoms do not disappear after the recommended course of therapy, a proctologic examination should be carried out and the therapy applied should be reviewed. If there are impaired venous blood circulation, the maximum effect of treatment is provided by combining therapy with a healthy (balanced) lifestyle: long stay on the legs, as well as reducing overweight. Walking and, in some cases, wearing special stockings, helps to improve blood circulation. The effect on the ability to drive motor vehicles and control mechanisms is not affected.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
In experimental animal studies, no teratogenic effects were identified.To date, there have been no reports of any side effects when using the drug in pregnant women. Due to the lack of data regarding the excretion of the drug in breast milk, nursing women are not recommended to take the drug.
Dosage and administration
Inside. The recommended dose for venous lymphatic insufficiency is 2 pills / day (for 1 or 2 doses): in the morning, in the afternoon and / or in the evening, during meals. The course of treatment can be several months (up to 12 months). In case of recurrence of symptoms, according to the recommendation of a doctor, the course of treatment can be repeated. The recommended dose for acute hemorrhoids is 6 pills / day: 3 pills each. in the morning and 3 tab. in the evening for 4 days, then 4 tab. / day: 2 tab. in the morning and 2 tab. in the evening over the next 3 days. The recommended dose for chronic hemorrhoids - 2 tab. / day during the meal.
Side effects
The incidence of adverse reactions is as follows: very often (≥1 / 10), often (≥1 / 100 and <1/10), infrequently (≥1 / 1000 and <1/100), rarely (≥1 / 10 000 and <1/1000) and very rarely (<1/10 000), the frequency is unknown (adverse reactions, the frequency of development of which is not possible to estimate according to available data). From the nervous system: rarely - dizziness, headache, general malaise, frequency is unknown - convulsions. From the digestive system: often - diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, infrequently - colitis, frequency is unknown - abdominal pain . On the part of the respiratory system: frequency is unknown - sore throat, chest pain. On the side of the skin: rarely - rash, itching, urticaria, frequency unknown edema. If any of the above adverse reactions are aggravated, or the patient has noticed other adverse reactions, you should inform your doctor.
Overdose
Cases of overdose are not described. In case of overdose, the patient should immediately seek medical help.
