Composition
Tenonitrozole 250 mg; Excipients: peanut oil - 194 mg, hydrogenated soybean oil - 6 mg, soy lecithin - 5 mg. Capsule shell composition: 134 mg gelatin, sorbitol and sorbitan solution - 66 mg, titanium dioxide (E171) - 1.5 mg, iron dye oxide yellow (E172) - 1 mg, glycerol - 3.5 mg, hypromellose phthalate - 30 mg, dibutyl phthalate - 5.2 mg.
Pharmacological effect
Antitrichomonasic agent. Tenonitrozole is active against Trichomonas vaginalis. It has trichomonacid action. Also active against Candida albicans.
Indications
Trichomoniasis of the genitourinary system (in women and men).
Contraindications
Severe abnormal liver function, hypersensitivity to Tenonitrozole.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Application during periods of pregnancy and lactation is possible only in the case when the intended benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risk to the fetus .; The drug is excreted in breast milk, so if necessary, the appointment of the drug during lactation should stop breastfeeding.
Dosage and administration
Inside 200-250 mg 2-3 times / day during meals, intravaginal 100 mg 1-2 times / day. The duration of treatment is determined individually.
Side effects
On the part of the digestive system: nausea, loss of appetite, discomfort in the epigastric region when taken orally; possibly yellowish staining of the sclera.; Other: very rarely - allergic reactions.
Interaction with other drugs
Incompatible with drugs containing ethanol.
special instructions
It is necessary to conduct simultaneous treatment of the sexual partner. Wearing contact lenses is not recommended during treatment with Tenonitrozole. In the process of treatment is prohibited the use of alcohol. If there have been several courses of treatment with Tenonitrozole, then at the end of treatment it is recommended to monitor the pattern of peripheral blood. Tenonitrozole is not recommended to be used simultaneously with disulfiram.
