Pharmacological effect
Scrubber.
Indications
Scabies; head and pubic lice.
Contraindications
Children under 3 years of age; hypersensitivity to benzyl benzoate.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
Dosage and administration
Outside. When treating scabies: after washing, overnight, applied to the entire skin (excluding the face and scalp) and rubbed with hands (they do not wash until morning), 30-40 g of ointment is spent for one rubbing (course 60–80 d); after the procedure use decontaminated underwear and clothes; On the 4th day, the treatment is repeated, on the 5th day they prescribe washing with the change of underwear and bed linen. When treating head lice: rubbed into the skin of the scalp and hair, then hair is tied with a cotton cloth. When pubic pediculosis: rubbed into the skin of the pubis , abdomen, inguinal folds and inner thighs. For pediculosis: rubbed on the night for 1, 3 and 7 days, on the 8th day they wash with soap and hair, rinsed with 3% solution of acetic acid. If necessary, the treatment is repeated. For the treatment of adults use 20% ointment, children - 10%. plots with soft skin ointment applied without intensive rubbing.
