Methylethylpyridinol
Composition
Methylethylpyridinol hydrochloride 10 mg. Excipients: anhydrous sodium sulfite - 2.5 mg, sodium benzoate - 2 mg, potassium dihydrogen phosphate - 5.4 mg, sodium hydrophosphate dodecahydrate - 6.5 mg, water soluble methyl cellulose - 6.5 mg, water d / and - up to 1 ml.
Pharmacological effect
Angioprotector reduces the permeability of the vascular wall, is an inhibitor of free radical processes, antihypoxant and antioxidant, reduces blood viscosity and platelet aggregation.
Indications
Treatment - hemorrhage in the anterior chamber of the eye, complications of myopia, protection of the cornea (when wearing contact lenses); treatment and prevention - inflammation and burns of the cornea, hemorrhages in the sclera of elderly patients.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. With caution - pregnancy.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
With caution - during pregnancy.
Dosage and administration
In the conjunctival sac - 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is 3-30 days. If necessary and well tolerated, the course of treatment can be continued for up to 6 months or be repeated 2-3 times a year.
Side effects
Burning sensation, itching, short-term conjunctival hyperemia, rarely local allergic reactions.
Interaction with other drugs
