Enerion-coated pills regulate metabolic processes in the CNS. Designed for symptomatic treatment of functional asthenic conditions in hypo-and avitaminosis, for long-term diseases, after surgical interventions.

Pharmacological effect
Synthetic compound, similar in structure to thiamine. The sulbutiamine molecule has an open thiazole cycle, an additional disulfide bond, and a lipophilic ester. Thanks to this modification, it is quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and easily penetrates the BBB. Unlike thiamine, it can accumulate in cells of the reticular formation, hippocampus and dentate gyrus, as well as Purkinje fiber cells and glomeruli of the granular layer of the cerebellar cortex. Against the background of Enerion's intake, coordination of movements improves and resistance to physical exertion increases, the stability of the cerebral cortex structures to repeated hypoxia increases.
Pharmacokinetics
Absorption: after oral administration, sulbutiamine is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, Cmax in the blood plasma is reached in 1-2 hours. Withdrawal: T1 / 2 is about 5 hours. Excreted in the urine.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of functional asthenic conditions with hypo-and avitaminosis, with long-term diseases, after surgical interventions.
Dosage and administration
Adults are prescribed the drug in a daily dose of 400-600 mg (2-3 pills) in 2 doses. Tablets should be taken orally during breakfast and at lunch. The duration of treatment should not exceed 4 weeks.
