Pharmacological effect
Pharmacological action - local anesthetic, anticoagulant.
Indications
prevention and treatment of superficial vein thrombophlebitis; postinjection and postinfusion phlebitis; external hemorrhoids; inflammation of postpartum hemorrhoids; trophic ulcers of the leg; elephantiasis; surface periphlebitis; lymphangitis; superficial mastitis; localized infiltrates and edemas; injuries and bruises without compromising the integrity of the skin (including muscle tissue, tendons, joints); subcutaneous hematoma.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the drug; - ulcerative-necrotic processes; - traumatic violation of the integrity of the skin. Use with caution in thrombocytopenia and increased tendency to bleeding.
Precautionary measures
Keep out of the reach of children, dry, dark place.
Dosage and administration
Apply externally. Ointment is applied with a thin layer on the affected area (at the rate of 0. 5-1 g (2-4 cm of ointment) on the area with a diameter of 3-5 cm) and gently rub the ointment into the skin. The ointment is used 2-3 times a day every day until the disappearance of inflammatory events, on average from 3 to 7 days. The possibility of a longer course of treatment is determined by the doctor. In thrombosis of the external hemorrhoidal nodes, the ointment is applied to a coarse or linen pad, which is placed directly on the thrombosed nodes and fixed. The ointment should be applied daily, until the symptoms disappear, on average from 3 to 14 days, with the same purpose you can use a tampon soaked in heparin ointment, which is injected into the anus.
