Pharmacological effect
Herbal diuretic agent. The complex of biologically active substances of grass of horsetail (including silicic acid, saponins, tannins, organic acids, salts) provides diuretic, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, antimicrobial, detoxification (removes lead) effects. In urine, silicon salts form colloids that prevent the crystallization of urinary stones .; Diuretic action is manifested from the first day of application and throughout the course of treatment, as well as repeated courses (no addiction to horsetail preparations).
Indications
For oral administration: urinary tract infections, kidney stones and bladder, edema; in the combination therapy of bleeding of various etiologies, lead poisoning.
Contraindications
Edema associated with impaired activity of the heart, glomerulonephritis, impaired renal function, hypersensitivity to the plant.
Dosage and administration
Is taken orally in the form of cooked broth (10 g of raw material per 200 ml of water) in 1 tbsp. spoon 3-4 times / day.
