Description
Vaginal suppositories "Nonoxynol" - a means for contraception. It has a pronounced spermicidal effect. It causes fragmentation, reduced mobility and the death of spermatozoa. Pharmacological effect
Nopoxypol is a non-ionic surface-active compound, its spermicidal effect is due to fragmentation and a decrease in sperm motility. It has bactericidal activity against gonococci and chlamydia. In vitro is active against HIV infections, but there are no clinical data on reducing the risk of HIV infection when using ponoxinol. Lactic acid has a beneficial effect on the normal microflora and vaginal mucosa. Pharmacokinetics

Dosage and administration
