Ointment for external use 100 g ground sulfur 33.33 g.
Pharmacological effect
When applied externally, sulfur interacts with organic substances, forming sulphides and pentathionic acid, which have antimicrobial and antiparasitic effects.
Indications
Scabies.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to sulfur.
Dosage and administration
Apply to the skin for 5 days. After a 5-day course of treatment, the patient should take a bath and change bed linen.
Side effects
In rare cases: local hypersensitivity reactions.
