Description
Taurine eye drops - anti-cataract, has a metabolic effect. Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is formed in the body during the conversion of cysteine. It stimulates the processes of reparation and regeneration in case of diseases of a dystrophic nature and diseases accompanied by a sharp disturbance of the metabolism of eye tissues. It contributes to the normalization of the functions of cell membranes, the activation of energy and metabolic processes, the preservation of the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm due to the accumulation of potassium and calcium ions, and the improvement of the conditions of nerve impulses.

Taurine (taufon). Excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water.
Indications
The drug is prescribed for adults with corneal dystrophy, senile, traumatic, radiation and other types of cataracts, as well as corneal injuries (as a stimulator of reparative processes).
Precautionary measures
Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to taurine.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
Dosage and administration
When cataracts prescribed in the form of instillation of 1-2 drops 2-4 times a day for 3 months. The course is repeated at monthly intervals. For injuries and dystrophic diseases, the corneas are used in the same doses for one month.
