5 ml ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg. Auxiliary substances: medium chain triglycerides - up to 1 g.
Pharmacological effect
Mucolytic agent, stimulates prenatal development of the lungs (increases synthesis, secretion of surfactant and blocks its disintegration). Possesses sekretomotorny, sekretolitichesky and expectorant action. stimulates the serous cells of the glands of the mucous membrane of the bronchi, increases the content of mucous secretions and the release of surfactants in the alveoli and bronchi. normalizes the disturbed ratio of serous and mucous components of sputum. Activating hydrolyzing enzymes and enhancing the release of lysosomes from Clark cells, reduces the viscosity of sputum. Increases the motor activity of the ciliated epithelium, increases mucociliary transport. After ingestion, the action occurs after 30 minutes and lasts for 6-12 hours.
Indications
- respiratory diseases with the release of viscous sputum. - acute and chronic bronchitis. - pneumonia. - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. - bronchial asthma with the difficulty of sputum discharge. - bronchiectasis.
Contraindications
- rare hereditary diseases, such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption (for effervescent pills) - phenylketonuria (for effervescent pills) - pregnancy (I trimester) - children under 12 years old (effervescent pills) - increased sensitivity to all components of the drug. With care: liver failure, kidney failure, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, pregnancy (II and III trimester), lactation period, children under 1 year (syrup).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy (I trimester) is contraindicated. Pregnancy (II and III trimester) and in the period of lactation should be used with caution.
Dosage and administration
Effervescent pills and syrup are taken orally after a meal. Effervescent pills 1 or 1/2 tab. effervescent dissolved in a glass of water (200 ml). Tablets should not be swallowed, chewed or sucked in the mouth. Adults and children over 12 years old: in the first 2-3 days 1/2 a tab. effervescent (30 mg) 3 times / day or 1 tab. 60 mg in the morning and 1/2 tab. (30 mg) in the evening. in the following days on 1/2 tab. effervescent (30 mg) 2 times / day.If necessary, to enhance the therapeutic effect in the first 2-3 days, 60 mg (1 tab. Effervescent) can be administered 2 times / day. It is not recommended to use the drug for more than 4-5 days without a doctor's prescription. Syrup 15 mg / 5 ml Adults and children over 12 years: in the first 2-3 days of the disease, 10 ml (2 scoops) 3 times / day. then 10 ml (2 scoops) 2 times / day. In severe cases of the disease, the dose is not reduced during the entire course of treatment. Children from 5 to 12 years old - 5 ml (1 scoop) 2-3 times / day. from 2 to 5 years - 2.5 ml (1/2 measuring spoon) 3 times / day. up to 2 years - 2.5 ml (1/2 measuring spoon), 2 times / day. Children up to 1 year of the drug can be administered only after consultation with the doctor. Ambroxol-Hemofarm in the form of a syrup should be taken orally with a liquid. Open vial stored for 4 weeks. Taking the drug for more than 4-5 days only under the supervision of a physician.
