Pharmacokinetics
With intranasal use, the concentration of the active substance achieved in the blood is significantly below the detection limit (the limit of determination of interferon alfa-2b is 1-2 IU / ml) and has no clinical significance.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of influenza and ARVI in children and adults.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to interferon drugs and components that make up the drug. Severe forms of allergic diseases.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Grippferon is approved for use during the entire period of pregnancy in accordance with the age dose.
Dosage and administration
At the first signs of the disease, Grippferon is used for 5 days: - at the age of 0 to 1 year, 1 drop in each nasal passage 5 times a day (single dose of 1000 ME, daily dose of 5000 ME) - at the age of 1 to 3 years 2 drops in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day (single dose of 2000 ME, daily dose of 6000-8000 ME); - at the age of 3 to 14 years, 2 drops in each nasal passage 4-5 times a day (one-time dose of 2000 ME, daily dose of 8000-10000 ME); - adults, 3 drops in each nasal passage 5-6 times a day (single dose of 3000 ME, daily dose of 15000-18000 ME). With the aim of preventing SARS and influenza: - contact with bo nym and / or subcooled drug instilled in a single age dose 2 times a day. If necessary, prophylactic courses are repeated; –– with a seasonal increase in the incidence of the drug, they are instilled in an age dose once in the morning with an interval of 24–48 hours.

The use of intranasal vasoconstrictor drugs in conjunction with Grippferon is not recommended, as it contributes to the additional drying of the nasal mucosa.
