Composition
Active ingredient: Extract from the culture of thermophilic strain of Staphylococcus aureus (Staphylococcus aureus, strain C -2) - 0.2 ml. Auxiliary substances: sodium chloride solution for injection 0, 9%, phenol 0, 025 - 0, 5%.
Pharmacological effect
It has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect. Reduces swelling of the mucous membranes and skin, reduces the content of eosinophils and degranulated mast cells in the focus of inflammation and increases the concentration of class A secretory immunoglobulin in the mucous membranes, thereby increasing their resistance to infection. Reduces the content of markers of allergic inflammation: common immunoglobulin class E in the blood and nitric oxide in exhaled air.
Indications
Seasonal (pollinosis) and perennial allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, urticaria and angioedema, atopic and other allergic dermatitis, frequent respiratory infections.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy and breastfeeding period, children under 4 years old, acute infection, active tuberculosis, decompensated diseases of the internal organs.
Precautionary measures
It should be used with caution in the presence of foci of chronic infection (chronic tonsillitis, sinusitis) because of the potential for exacerbation
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Dosage and administration
Subcutaneously for adults and children over 6 years old at a dose of 0.2 ml once a week, for children from 4 to 6 years old at a dose of 0.1 ml once a week, a course of 5 to 10 weeks. During the year, 1 to 4 courses can be conducted. In case of pollinosis, the drug is administered 6-8 weeks before the flowering period of the allergenic plant; with frequent respiratory infections, prophylaxis should be given in spring and autumn.
Side effects
Increase in body temperature to subfebrile numbers, weakness, exacerbation of the chronic focus of infection, short-term increase in cough in chronic bronchitis, increased skin rash in skin allergies. These symptoms are usually mild and transient, do not require discontinuation of the drug.
Overdose
Cases of overdose are not registered.
Interaction with other drugs
The interaction of the drug RUZAM with other drugs is not registered. RUZAM can be prescribed together with antihistamines, glucocorticosteroids or antibiotics.

The drug does not affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities that require special attention and speed of reaction (driving, etc.). Do not use the solution remaining in the vial.
