1 capsule contains: urolesan; the extract is thick, based on the moisture content of 10% 10.7 mg, including: wild carrot seed extract 1.84 mg; hop cones extract 6.33 mg; extract of oregano herb 1.46 mg; peppermint leaf oil 7.46 mg; fir oil 25.5 mg
Pharmacological effect
The drug has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effect, enhances cholera and biliary excretion, increases diuresis, acidifies urine, increases the excretion of urea and chlorides.
Pharmacokinetics
Urolesan; is a complex of biologically active components, therefore, its pharmacokinetic studies are not possible.
Indications
In the treatment of acute and chronic urinary tract infections and kidneys (cystitis, pyelonephritis); urolithiasis disease; cholelithiasis; chronic cholecystitis; hyperkinetic type biliary dyskinesia.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug; lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactase malabsorption; hyperacid gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer; the diameter of the kidney stones exceeds 3 mm; age up to 18 years.
Precautionary measures
Increasing the duration and conducting a second course of treatment is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated (efficacy and safety have not been studied).
Dosage and administration
The drug is used inside, before meals, 1 capsule 3 times a day. In the event of renal and hepatic colic, a single dose can be once increased to 2 capsules, then at subsequent doses return to the usual single dose (1 capsule). Capsules should be taken without chewing, with a small amount of water. In acute conditions (including with renal and hepatic colic), the duration of therapy is from 5 to 7 days, in chronic conditions - up to 1 month.
Side effects
On the part of the digestive system: dyspeptic symptoms (heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea); Allergic reactions: itching, facial flushing, skin rash, angioedema (tickling sensation, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue); From the central and peripheral nervous system: dizziness, general weakness; From the side of cardiovascular system: increase / decrease in blood pressure.
Overdose
It is possible to increase the dose-related side effects (including nausea, vomiting, dizziness). Symptomatic treatment: plentiful warm drink, rest, activated carbon, atropine sulfate (0.0005-0.001 g).
