Composition
Tablets for sucking 1 tab. Algeldrat (aluminum hydroxide) 400 mg magnesium hydroxide 400 mg. Excipients: sodium chloride - 26.85 mg, maltodextrin (kleptoza linearcaps) - 750 mg, sucrose (sugar) - 840.42 mg, colloidal silicon dioxide (aerosil) - 24.6 mg, titanium dioxide - 25 mg, starch (gel type PA5PH) - 129.5 mg, sodium benzoate - 9.25 mg, banana flavor - 12.4 mg, raspberry flavor - 6.1 mg.
Pharmacological effect
Combined drug to eliminate heartburn and stomach pain, the effect of which is due to its constituent components. Algeldrat has antacid, adsorbing, enveloping, carminative effect. Magnesium hydroxide has a slight laxative effect. The drug neutralizes free hydrochloric acid in the stomach, reduces the activity of gastric juice. inactivates pepsin and binds bile acids that enter the stomach as a result of reflux from the duodenum 12, has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum. accelerates the motility of the stomach and all parts of the intestine. Does not cause secondary hypersecretion of hydrochloric acid and alkalosis.
Indications
- peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase. - acute gastritis with increased and normal secretory function in the acute phase, acute duodenitis. - hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm, reflux esophagitis. - discomfort, heartburn and epigastric pain with errors in diet, after taking medication, including glucocorticosteroids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as after drinking coffee, nicotine, alcohol.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug. Surase / isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Hypophosphatemia, marked impaired renal function, children under 10 years old, Alzheimer's disease, pregnancy. With caution: during lactation.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation.
Dosage and administration
Inside Tablets should be chewed and kept in the mouth until complete resorption.Adults and children over 15 years old take 1-2 pills 4 times a day. 1 h after eating and in the evening before bedtime or when discomfort, epigastric pain, and heartburn occur. In case of gastric ulcer, the drug must be taken 30 minutes before a meal. The maximum daily dose is 12 pills. Children from 10 to 15 years prescribed half the recommended dose for adults. For prophylaxis - 1 tablet for 15 minutes before taking medication that irritates the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. The duration of treatment should not exceed 15-20 days.
Side effects
Constipation, nausea, vomiting, stomach pains of a spastic nature, change in taste, hypermagnemia, hypophosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypercalciuria, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, hyperaluminiemia, encephalopathy, nephrocalcinosis, renal dysfunction, allergic reactions. In patients with concomitant renal insufficiency - thirst, lowering blood pressure, hyporeflexia.
