Composition
In 1 ml solution for injection contains: Active ingredients: Bioactive concentrate from small sea fish 0.1 ml. Sprat (Sprattus sprattus sprattus). Black Sea Whiting (Odontogadus merlangus euxinus). Pusanok Black Sea (Alosa tanaica nordmanni). Anchovy Black Sea (Engraulis encrassicholus ponticus). Excipients: Water for injection (up to 1 ml), phenol (max. 0.005 g).
Pharmacological effect
The drug that regulates the metabolism of cartilage tissue, chondroprotector. It is a bioactive concentrate of small marine fish containing mucopolysaccharides, amino acids, peptides, ions of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and zinc. Alflutop prevents the destruction of the macromolecular structures of normal tissues, stimulates recovery processes in interstitial tissue and articular cartilage tissue, what explains its analgesic effect. Anti-inflammatory effect and tissue regeneration are based on the inhibition of hyaluronidase activity and the normalization of hyaluronic acid biosynthesis. These effects are synergistic and cause the activation of metabolic processes in tissues, in particular the cartilage tissues, preventing the degeneration processes.
Pharmacokinetics
The action of an extract of marine organisms is the cumulative effect of its active components, therefore, the study of pharmacokinetic characteristics is not possible.
Indications
degenerative rheumatic diseases - osteoarthrosis of small and large joints of the arms and legs; osteochondrosis and spondylosis; interphalangeal arthrosis; coxarthrosis; gonarthrosis; consequences of post-traumatic and postoperative damage to the musculoskeletal system.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug. The period of pregnancy and lactation (rr for injection).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated.
Dosage and administration
In case of polyosteoarthrosis and osteochondrosis, the drug is administered deep intramuscularly at 1 ml / day for 20 days. With the defeat of predominantly large joints, the drug is injected intravenously by 1-2 ml into each joint with an interval of 3 days. The course of treatment is 5–6 injections into each joint with the subsequent intramuscular injection of 1 ml of the drug for 20 days. The course of treatment should be repeated after 3-6 months.It is also possible in / m the introduction of 1 ml 1 time per day.
Side effects
In rare cases, dermatitis, skin flushing and a burning sensation at the injection site may occur, short-term myalgia. In some cases, with intra-articular administration, a transient increase in pain is possible.
Overdose
Symptoms: in predisposed patients allergic reactions are possible, sometimes severe. Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
Interaction with other drugs
To apply Alflutop with local anesthetic agents, primarily PABK derivatives (procain, etc.) with caution - the adverse consequences of such an interaction are possible.
special instructions
Improvement in the condition is usually noted after 2 weeks from the start of treatment. Use with caution under the supervision of a physician, especially in cases of autoimmune diseases (it can lead to an anaphylactic reaction). Drug treatment does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and to work with mechanisms that require concentration.
