Composition
1 g of cream contains: The active substance - 10 mg of terbinafine hydrochloride. Excipients: benzyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate, purified water.
Pharmacological effect
Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is formed in the body during the conversion of cysteine. It stimulates the processes of reparation and regeneration in case of diseases of a dystrophic nature and diseases accompanied by a sharp disturbance of the metabolism of eye tissues. Anti-cataract, has a metabolic effect. It contributes to the normalization of the functions of cell membranes, the activation of energy and metabolic processes, the preservation of the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm due to the accumulation of potassium and calcium ions, and the improvement of the conditions of nerve impulses.

When applied topically, systemic absorption is low.
Indications
The drug is used as part of complex therapy. Corneal dystrophy; cataract (senile, diabetic, traumatic, radiation); corneal injury (as a stimulator of reparative processes). Primary open-angle glaucoma (in combination with β-blockers (to improve the flow of intraocular fluid)).
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity, children's age (up to 18 years).

Use during pregnancy and lactation
Drug administration during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.
Dosage and administration
Locally. The drug is used in the form of instillations. With cataracts, 1-2 drops 2-4 times a day for 3 months. The course is repeated at monthly intervals. For injuries and dystrophic diseases of the cornea is used in the same doses for 1 month. In open-angle glaucoma (in combination with butylaminohydroxypropoxyphenoxymethylmethyloxadiazole or timolol maleate), 1-2 drops 2 times a day 15-20 minutes before prescribing one of the local antihypertensive drugs for 6 weeks, followed by cancellation for 2 weeks.
